Job Description

• Product level : Understand the design and working principle of machinery and equipment (of a specific client). Major Specifications, design variants and critical parameters etc.
• Project level : Project objectives and Customer requirements and technical specifications for the new machine or equipment to be designed.
• Analyze the reference design to be used as benchmark and list out Engineering Changes/ Improvements to be applied to be arrived at new design.
• Make basis design calculations for structure and actuators like gears motors drives etc. As per static and dynamic operational loads and scenarios.
• GA and lay-out (using either 3d design tools or 2d ) and 3d design for design verification (thru CAE and Simulations) as needed.
• Perform or coordinate different type of CAE as needed to prove effectiveness of the new design for the requirements.
• Design optimization as per Analysis and Simulation results and re-verification. Evaluation using DFMEA etc.

Cad Skills:

• Knowledge of CAD software, (CATIA , NX, CRE O, SOLIDWORKS etc.), design calculations, FEA (processes), PLM systems is essential.
• Working knowledge of PLM/ PDM systems, ECNs, check in-check out, releases etc. 
• Basic calculations for sizing and selection of major cross section, actuators and bought items.

Soft skills:

• Able to lead by example and self-effort.
• Good analytical skills and process approach.
• Fluent in English (Hindi optional) and able to do client communication on regular basis.
